Visual identity and presentation design for Amusement Society, a gastronomy event agency based in Berlin. The project included logo development, a mini brand guide (colors, typography, and grid), and the design of two pitch decks used to present the agency to restaurants and partners. I worked on the overall visual/art direction, layout system, and image curation, shaping the mood and consistency of the presentations.
The Logo
The logo was developed to feel both serious and playful, reflecting the social and event-driven nature of the brand.
The Sketches
The logo idea comes from the feeling of a festival totem, something fluid and easy to recognise from a distance, a sign that tells you your people are nearby. I explored the initials A and S as the starting point, shaping them into a form that feels soft, flowing and slightly in motion. The goal was to create a mark that is clearly readable when paired with the full name Amusement Society, but also strong enough to stand on its own as a symbol. The sketches show the process of searching for a balance between legibility and a more organic, expressive shape that could work as a distinct and memorable logomark.
Image Curation & Art Direction
Photography was an essential part of the presentations and was treated as a structural and narrative element, and not just decoration. I worked with the given text and used images to support and elevate it, so that text and photography worked together and reinforced each other. Images were carefully researched, selected, and placed to create mood, add character, and make the content feel more engaging and atmospheric. Photos from different sources were curated and adjusted to look as consistent as possible, so that all slides felt cohesive and part of the same visual world.
Pitch Decks
Two flexible presentation templates were designed to (1) introduce the agency and (2) support future updates as new locations and collaborations are added. A clear layout system was developed to organise content, guide the reader, and balance text, photography, and space across the slides. This is a brief glimpse into the presentations; the full decks are much larger, so this is a curated extract.
